Gülsüm Ercan is a 5th year student at Marmara University Faculty of Pharmacy. She worked as a research intern for 6 months in the project "Design and Production of Multilayer Patches for the Treatment of Secondary Corneal Infections Due to Corneal Perforation" at NBUAM within the scope of Tübitak STAR program. One Tübitak 2209-A project and TUSEB A1-License project she wrote under the consultancy of Assoc. Dr. Muhammet Emin Çam were entitled to be supported. She worked on nanoparticles with Prof. Dr. Anton Ficai at University Polytechnica of Bucharest for 2 months within the scope of Erasmus+ KA131. She continues her education on Diabetes, Alzheimer's disease, drug delivery systems, 3D printing and biomaterials.
