Amisha Raikar is a dedicated pharmaceutical researcher based in Goa, India. With a Master of Pharmacy in Pharmaceutics from Goa University and a Post Graduate Diploma in International Business Operations from Indira Gandhi National Open University, she possesses a strong academic foundation focused on advanced drug delivery systems, evidenced by her extensive work in sustained release strategies, bioinspired transdermal microneedles, and nanoparticle-based respiratory immunotherapy. As an editor for PLOS One and a correspondent for Trinity Business Review, she actively contributes to the scientific community. Her commitment to innovation and sustainability in healthcare is further demonstrated through numerous publications and ongoing interdisciplinary projects. Her future goal is to pursue a Ph.D. in the development of novel drug delivery systems targeting neuropharmacological pathways for the treatment of neurologically triggered substance use disorder, such as tobacco smoking and alcohol addiction.
