Dr. Ece Guler graduated from Marmara University, Faculty of Pharmacy, in 2018. She started her Ph.D. education in the field of pharmacology at Marmara University. She gained YOK and TUBİTAK national and international doctoral scholarships. During her Ph.D. education, she studied in vivo animal models on Alzheimer's disease, diabetes, epilepsy, inflammation, colitis, and wound, and developed drug delivery systems with nanotechnology. She has 17 SCI-indexed publications, 1 book chapter, and many oral presentations and posters made at national and international congresses on these subjects. She has many awards such as being the cover page of the best journals in her field with the drawings she designed and the best oral presentation award. She has also improved herself with short-term training on entrepreneurship and nanotechnology in Spain and Portugal, and continues her Ph.D. education by finding the opportunity to develop herself in the field of in vitro cell culture at COMSATS University in Pakistan and University College London (UCL) in the UK with the projects she participated in. Dr. Guler has received over 398 citations for her publications so far and her h-index is 10. She is currently working as a Asst. Prof. at Istanbul Kent University Faculty of Pharmacy.
