Gülsüm Ercan graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Pharmacy in 2024. In the same year, she started her Phd education in Pharmaceutical Technology at the University of Health Sciences. During her undergraduate education, she worked as a research intern at M.U. Nanotechnology and Biomaterials Application and Research Center (NBUAM) within the scope of TÜBİTAK STAR Program for 6 months in the project “Design and Production of Multilayer Patches for the Treatment of Secondary Corneal Infections Caused by Corneal Perforation”. One TÜBİTAK 2209-A and one TÜSEB A1-License project written under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammet Emin Çam was entitled to be supported. Within the scope of Erasmus+ KA131, she worked on magnetic nanoparticle production with Prof. Anton Ficai at the Polytechnic University of Bucharest for 2 months. She continues her PhD studies on drug delivery systems, biomaterials, diabetes, Alzheimer's disease, and drug delivery systems.
