Pharm. Ugur Balaban graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy at Ankara University in 2021 as the highest-ranked student with a CGPA of 3.97, and in the same year, he ranked 2nd in Turkey in the Pharmacy Specialty Examination. In 2022, he started working as a research assistant in the Clinical Pharmacy Specialty Training Programme at Hacettepe University Faculty of Pharmacy. He has completed clinical setting training in many clinics and still holds his position. He is a member of several societies, including the European Society of Clinical Pharmacy (ESCP), the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine (ESICM), the Clinical Pharmacy Society (KED) in Turkey, and the Society of Turkish Intensivists (TUYUD). He also plays an active role in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Pharmacy Professional Working Group under the framework of ESICM.
