Asst. Prof. Furkan Çam graduated from Istanbul University, Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, Department of English Medicine in 2016. He completed his residency training in Ophthalmology at Marmara University from 2017 to 2022. He fulfilled his compulsory service at Gümüşhane State Hospital from 2022 to 2023. Since January 2024, he has been serving as a faculty member in the Department of Ophthalmology at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine. He has successfully passed the International Council of Ophthalmology Basic Science, Optic Refraction, Clinical Science, and Advanced examinations, earning the title of Fellow of the International Council of Ophthalmology (FICO). He has publications in SCI-E indexed journals on uveitis and retinal diseases.
