She currently works at Acıbadem University, Department of Pharmacology, and also at the Department of Neurosciences, Institute of Health. She graduated from Ege University, Faculty of Pharmacy in 2011. She studied at the Freie Universitaet Berlin in the last year of the faculty by completing her graduation project in Pharmaceutical Technology. She worked for a short time in the pharmaceutical industry in the Department of Regulatory Affairs. She completed her PhD in Medical Pharmacology from Marmara University and simultaneously the Translation and Interpretation studies at Okan University, in simultaneous interpreting. Her research areas involve versatile areas including the implementation of animal models of epilepsy, focusing on absence epilepsy, new drug targets, detection of seizures with deep learning, alpha-2a adrenergic receptors, absence status epilepticus, and research of epileptogenesis. In recent years, her studies in the field of central and peripheral metabolic and immune regulations have continued. She has received various awards for her works presented at national and international conferences. She has been a professional DJ since 2019. She has played in well-known venues in Istanbul such as 360, Glow, Under, Peyote, Rika, Theend Club, and Salpa Bar, and continues to do so.
