Assoc. Prof. Gülşah Gedik was born on March 18, 1974 in Istanbul. She studied primary and high school in Eskişehir and graduated from Anadolu University Faculty of Pharmacy. She completed his doctorate at Marmara University, Institute of Health Sciences, Department of Pharmaceutical Technology. She pioneered the establishment of Trakya University Institute of Health Sciences, Department of Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology. He continues her work in the fields of Particulate Formulations, Drug Delivery Systems, Nutriceuticals, Sustainable Pharmaceuticals and Clean Beauty. Dr. Gülşah Gedik has published 20 articles in domestic and international journals, 60 papers in national and international scientific meetings, and 1 international book chapter. She took part in 36 projects funded by The European Scientific Collaboration Project, TUBITAK and universities. She is the section editor of Journal of Research in Pharmacy, registered with ESCI, and Acta Medica Balkanica, registered with EBSCO. The Inventor was selected for the Pharmaist 2022 Fair by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office in 2022, became the 11th R&D Project Market "Pharmaceutical Category" Finalist organized by the Istanbul Chemicals and Products Exporters Association (İKMİB) in 2022, and the 3rd Trakya Project Market Finalist in 2019 and she won the Marmara University Scientific Publication Award in 2013. She has 2 patents, 1 of which is under examination. She is a member of the Edirne Red Research Commission, one of the values ​​of Edirne, the city he lives in, and continues to work as a Scientific Consultant for Elso Kimya, Farmatek İlaç, Hunca Kozmetik, Charm Kozmetik, Tan-Alize Kozmetik and Bionley Biotechnology Companies. She also teaches Nanotechnology and Medicine in the departments of Trakya and Mersin University Faculty of Medicine. She is an active member of the Million Women Mentoring program, which aims to bring together young women and industry leaders working in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics through a digital platform. She currently works at Trakya University, Faculty of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmaceutical Technology.
