Assist. Prof. Sumeyye Cesur graduated from Mustafa Kemal University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Physics, with honors in 2012. In 2013, she entered the master's program at Kahramanmaras Sutcu Imam University, Institute of Science and Technology, Department of Physics, and graduated in 2016. She started her PhD program at Marmara University, Faculty of Technology, Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering in 2017 and graduated in 2021. During her PhD, she continued her studies at the Nanotechnology and Biomaterials Application and Research Center (NBUAM) at Marmara University. She currently works as a faculty member at Marmara University Faculty of Technology, Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Department of Ceramics, and NBUAM. She continues her studies as a faculty member in the department where she completed her PhD, and continues her studies on biomaterials, microfluidic systems, three-dimensional printing technology, tissue engineering, and drug delivery systems. Dr. Cesur has over 40 publications, most of them in SCI-indexed journals, over 45 international conferences, 5 international book chapters, patent applications, many international publication awards, and cover pages. Cesur is actively involved in many TUSEB, TUBITAK, and International projects. Dr. Cesur's publications have received around 700 citations so far and her h-index is 14.
