Hatice Sibel AKTAŞ

Hatice Sibel AKTAŞ was born in 2002 in Kayseri, Turkey. She completed her high school education at Sümer Anatolian High School with a first-degree. In 2021, she began her studies in the English Pharmacy program at the Faculty of Pharmacy in Ankara University. She is a currently a fourth-year student. She has participated in the EFEP (Equality Platform for Pharmacy Students), as well as in the Map of Health Academy and Future Career programs. Through these programs, she received training from experts in areas such as dermocosmetics, pharmacy management, scientific writing and design, and TÜBİTAK project writing. In 2023, she completed her mandatory internship at Fatih Pharmacy. During this internship, she gained experience in entering prescriptions into the system, preparing the prescribed medications, informing patients about the usage of medications, organizing pharmacy shelves, and managing stock control by listing out-of-stock medications. In 2024, she completed a one-month internship at Kayseri State Hospital. During this period, she gained experience in checking medication expiration dates, preparing medications for inpatients, monitoring stock levels, providing patient-specific medical supplies, procuring medications through tenders, and processing invoices. She has proficiency in English at the C1 level and in German at the A2 level. She possesses pharmaceutical knowledge, strong communication skills, is a compatible with teamwork, and has an analytical mindset. After completing her undergraduate studies, she aims to pursue a master’s degree to continue her education.
