Specialist Dr. Derya Kuyucu
Specialist Medical Doctor – Başakşehir Medical Center, Anesthesiology and Reanimation
Specialist Dr. Derya Kuyucu graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 2006. As part of her compulsory service, she was assigned to Mecitözü Figani Health Center. Between 2007 and 2012, she completed her residency in the Department of Anesthesiology and Reanimation at İzmir Atatürk Training and Research Hospital. In 2012, she participated as an observer for three months at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), Department of Critical Care Medicine, where she worked on Ventilator-Associated Pneumonia (VAP). During the same period, she also observed obstetric anesthesia practices at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital, Department of Anesthesiology. In 2013, she began her compulsory specialty service at İzmir Tepecik Training and Research Hospital, Ege Maternity Hospital. She has also worked at Sarayköy State Hospital, Servergazi State Hospital, and Denizli State Hospital. In 2015, she was appointed to Başakşehir State Hospital in Istanbul, where she served until 2022. For the past three years, she has been working as an anesthesiology specialist at Başakşehir Medical Center. During the 2024–2025 academic year, she is pursuing a Master's Program in Medical Aesthetics at the University of Camerino in Italy.
