Yes. Bartonella serology (antibody testing) and, in some settings, PCR can be used. However, diagnosis is often clinical based on cat exposure plus typical lymph node swelling. Blood tests are most helpful in atypical cases, prolonged fever, suspected complications, or immunosuppression. Results should be interpreted alongside clinical findings rather than used in isolation.
