What are signs that hep C is getting worse?
As hepatitis C progresses, liver damage can increase and cirrhosis may develop. Worsening signs can include jaundice, abdominal fluid buildup (ascites), leg swelling, easy bruising/bleeding, confusion, severe fatigue, and unexplained weight loss. These may indicate advanced liver disease and warrant prompt medical evaluation. Regular monitoring and timely treatment are the most effective strategies to prevent progression.
