“Ayurvedic medicine” is commonly used to describe Ayurveda-based preparations. However, many products are categorized as supplements or cosmetics depending on regulation and formulation. Treating them as “pharmaceutical drugs” by default is not accurate. The safest approach is transparent labeling, reputable manufacturing, and professional guidance when needed.
