Does bromelain suppress appetite?
Robust clinical evidence that bromelain directly suppresses appetite is limited. Some people may feel less bloated or more comfortable, which can subjectively reduce cravings, but this is not the same as sustained appetite control. Appetite is largely driven by hormones, blood-glucose swings, protein/fiber intake, sleep, and stress. For appetite management, nutrition and lifestyle strategies outperform most supplements. Avoid high doses just to “kill appetite,” as GI discomfort may occur.
