"Nutrition experts are shifting the focus from quantity to diversity. According to the American Gut Project, individuals who consume 30 different types of plants weekly possess a significantly more robust gut microbiome."
The New Code for Gut Health: 30 Plant Points per Week

What is the 30-Point Rule?

Each unique plant counts as 1 point. The goal is to reach a total of 30 points within 7 days.

  • Whole Grains, Vegetables, Fruits, Legumes, Nuts/Seeds: 1 point each.

  • Herbs and Spices: 0.25 points each.

  • Different Colors: A red apple and a green apple count as separate points due to their varying polyphenol content.

What Doesn't Count?

Processed foods are out. White bread, white pasta, and fruit juices (stripped of fiber) do not earn points. You must switch to brown rice and whole grains.

Why Does It Matter?

70% of the immune system resides in the gut. A diverse diet reduces chronic inflammation, supports mental health, and regulates digestion.
