Who can use bromelain?
Many healthy adults may use bromelain short-term if they have no major risk factors and interactions are checked. Higher-risk groups should seek medical advice first: anticoagulant/antiplatelet users, bleeding disorders, planned surgery/dental work, pineapple/latex allergy risk, pregnancy/breastfeeding, and significant GI issues. Start cautiously, monitor for GI symptoms, rash, bruising or bleeding, and stop if concerns arise. It is not a substitute for diagnosis or treatment.
