Can you wear mascara while pregnant?
Mascara is generally low risk in pregnancy due to small-area use and minimal expected absorption. Focus on preventing irritation and infection: choose fragrance-free, ophthalmologist-tested formulas, do not share mascara, keep it closed, and replace every 3–6 months. Waterproof formulas may be more irritating and harder to remove; discontinue if you develop redness, itching, burning, or discharge.
