Does mineral water help with muscle pain?
It depends on the cause. Muscle soreness can be driven by post-exercise delayed-onset soreness (DOMS), fluid-electrolyte losses, poor sleep, or stress. Mineral water may support recovery when sweating and electrolyte loss are significant, mainly through sodium and magnesium, but it is not a treatment for muscle pain. If pain is severe, unilateral, associated with swelling/redness, or follows trauma, clinical evaluation is needed. The supportive system includes hydration, adequate protein, rest, gentle movement, and professional care when required—mineral water is a small helper within that system.
