Does tuna have iron?

Yes, tuna contains some iron. It is also a valuable source of high-quality protein, B vitamins, and omega-3 fatty acids. Although tuna provides less iron than red meat, it can still support iron intake within a balanced diet. When choosing canned tuna, sodium content and consumption frequency should be considered. Tuna may be helpful as part of an iron-supportive diet, but significant iron deficiency should be evaluated with ferritin and hemoglobin tests under medical supervision.
