Is memory foam better or latex?
“Better” depends on your sleep profile. Memory foam can fill the neck gap through contouring and reduce pressure points, but it may feel warmer for hot sleepers. Latex tends to feel cooler and more responsive, retains shape well, and often ventilates better. For neck pain, the most important factors are pillow loft and cervical support geometry; material primarily affects how that support feels over time. If possible, test both in your actual back/side positions for 10–15 minutes, check neck alignment, and evaluate heat retention—this is often the most practical way to decide.
